III SEMINAR MYSTIC HIDDEN WORDS

Last weekend, from October 4th to 6th, the third seminar organized by the Nehal Foundation took place at the University of Mysticism in Ávila (CITES) under the title "The Mysticism of the Hidden Words." This seminar was dedicated to the study of Baha'u'llah's "Book of Certitude," taught by Mr. Karlos Alastruey; the mysticism of Rumi, taught by Ms. Fereshté Hejazi; and "The Book of Life" by Teresa of Ávila, taught by Mr. Javier Sancho, the university center's director.

With a consistent attendance of thirty-five participants, occasionally reaching around forty, we immersed ourselves in the ocean of His words, seeking to deepen our understanding of the message in Baha'u'llah's "Book of Certitude." Professor Alastruey guided us meticulously through the meanings, encouraging questions and active participation from students throughout each session.

The study of Rumi's teachings in relation to those of Baha'u'llah provided insights into how mystical teachings across history correlate and often coincide on similar themes, even as they evolve and update based on the times in which they were revealed.

Mr. Javier Sancho captivated us once again with his insightful exposition of Teresa of Ávila's work, unveiling new dimensions of this author and her mystical teachings that remain highly relevant today.

Over three days at the center, morning prayers before breakfast created cherished bonds among all participants, emphasizing one of the primary goals of these gatherings.

Evening activities, including artistic pursuits like film and music, complemented the daytime sessions, along with excursions to the ancient city of Ávila, such as the walk along the city walls, offering breathtaking views of the medieval city and its surroundings.

The Nehal Foundation is already planning the next seminar, to be held at the same university next year, where we will continue to delve deeper into the works of the Bahá'í Revelation, hoping for increased participation each year.
