Who we are
The Nehal Foundation was established on December 18, 2003, in Madrid, with the main objective of safeguarding and disseminating the literary works of the Persian mystic poet D. Manucher Hejazi Tafreshí, as well as promoting the Farsi language and literature, and other cultural and scientific manifestations. The foundation is also dedicated to fostering values of respect for humanity, peace, and unity, supporting humanistic research projects and protecting children and youth. In addition, it promotes social, cultural, and educational activities that promote literature and the humanities.
The foundation is based on the collaboration of people committed to the common good, who can contribute in various ways, including donations, which have tax incentives in Spain. Its main purpose is to create ties between Eastern and Western cultures, following the wishes of its founder, and to create a meeting place for those who share these ideals and wish to join its efforts.
