The author, after providing a sound information on Kashan's social background and religious minorities, goes on to explain how the Bahá'í Faith came to take root in that region. Then he introduces the reader to its poets, writers, and Bahá'í schools. Thus the book presents a history of all the relevant Bahá'í events in that city.
