Freedom, Settlement, and Continuity, Volume 3
Believing absolutely in the equality and dignity of all human beings, and understanding the reality that Iran is going through a difficult period of transition, constitutes the central axis of the author’s thought and fundamental aspirations. In the third volume of this collection, an attempt has been made to demonstrate that governance based on religious principles, in practice, inevitably leads to the creation of social divisions and differences, and becomes an obstacle to progress and development.

The main objective of this collection is to show how belief in justice and equality among all Iranians, regardless of their convictions, can become the foundation of national unity. The author seeks to demonstrate that stability and progress will only be possible when the equal rights of all citizens are officially recognized and when religion and the state are clearly separated. If this separation is not established, new tensions and conflicts will inevitably arise.
The author’s wish is that this work may offer new perspectives to seekers of truth—especially young people—so that, by strengthening their critical thinking and reviewing their country’s historical experiences, they may better analyze the causes of underdevelopment and find paths toward progress. The main intention of this book is to clarify reality and present a rational path.
